I grew up playing video games, and have fond memories of the various consoles and games I grew up with. From my first Game Boy to the first gaming computer I built myself, each milestone in my video game history has informed me as a player, designer, and developer. After cutting my teeth by modding games like Doom and building simple JavaScript games and interactive websites, I was hired by Maxis to write gameplay behavior for The Sims 2 and subsequent games.
